Job summary

Ferguson Electric in Buffalo, NY is seeking a NetSuite Developer to design, engineer, and implement NetSuite solutions supporting project management, financials, job costing, procurement, inventory, billing and reporting.

You will own the technical design of customizations, write production SuiteScript, build workflows, and deliver integrations linking NetSuite to ERP and CRM systems, partnering with project managers and operations to turn requirements into scalable, maintainable NetSuite

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of software development experience focusing on NetSuite design, development, and engineering.
Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x (and working knowledge of SuiteScript 1.0), RESTlets, Suitelets, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SDF.

Responsibilities

Design NetSuite solutions end to end, including custom records, forms, fields, roles, saved searches, and data model decisions for project-based electrical contracting workflows.
Engineer customizations with SuiteScript 2.x (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelet, RESTlet, and Portlet scripts).
Build and maintain automated processes with SuiteFlow and SuiteBuilder; package, version, and deploy customizations via SDF.
Design integrations between NetSuite and CRM, project management, and accounting tools using RESTlets, REST and SOAP web services.
