Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking Netezza candidates for developing large scale ETL/Data applications. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Netezza ELT design, strong SQL and Oracle database programming skills, as well as Unix scripting knowledge. Excellent communication skills and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment are also required. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with junior developers and contribute to project success in Herndon, Virginia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction/development of large scale ETL/Data applications.
• Strong experience in Netezza ELT design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with NZSQL, NZPLSQL, NZLOAD and query tuning.

Responsibilities

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in construction/development of large scale ETL/Data applications.
• Must have strong experience on Netezza ELT design and architecture.
• Strong programming experience with SQL and Oracle databases and Unix scripting.
• Hands on experience with Netezza in NZSQL, NZPLSQL, NZLOAD. Netezza Query Plan and Query tuning.
• Should have the ability to collaborate and influence junior developers to ensure timely and effective completion of project tasks
• Experience in working Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
