Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the SURE unit to drive digital transformation for services, utilities, energy, and resources. You will elicit requirements, guide design discussions, and contribute to coding and feature delivery while ensuring system stability across enterprise applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, end-to-end SDLC ownership, and delivering scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Provide maintenance and production support for .NET apps including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, REST APIs, Angular/React, Azure, and ITIL incident management.

Responsibilities

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Provide application maintenance, production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for .NET-based applications to ensure high system availability and performance. Working experience on ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, REST APIs, Angular/React, Azure, debugging, production support, ITIL, incident and problem management.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle DB queries, stored procedures, packages, and database objects to support business applications

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST API integrations.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Additional Details

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below locations will be:

• San Ramon, CA – $86,213 to $130,000
• Oakland, CA – $85,375 to $121,938
