Job summary

TheCorporate LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to join our secure, cloud-focused development team in the United States. You will design and implement scalable software solutions, with emphasis on backend services and modern frameworks.

Proficiency in .NET/C#, Python, Java, and JavaScript is required, along with AWS and/or Azure experience. You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems while contributing to CI/CD and DevOps practices in an Agile environment.

Requirements

Security & Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#, backend development), Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience with X.12 Medical Claims Processing (e.g., 835, 837, 277, 275)
• Experience with back-end development using modern frameworks (e.g., .NET)
• Proficiency in database management (SQL, RBS, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases)
• Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
• Experience working with GitHub Co-pilot (preferred)
• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, ECR, ALB, NLB, WAF, DynamoDB, Kinesis Data Streams, Firehose
• Experience with software configuration management tools (Git, Subversion, Jira)
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Experience using Jira for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
• Experience understanding and articulating benefits and risks of coding languages across functional environments
• Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and correcting software issues in real-time
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe)
• Experience in DevOps CI/CD environments
