Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking skilled software engineers to design, develop, and maintain .NET-based web applications for federal clients. You will work within Agile teams to deliver robust solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate integration projects across platforms.

Qualification includes an Active Secret clearance and 3+ years in .NET (C#, VB.NET) with HTML5/CSS3. Familiarity with REST and RPC APIs and modern web technologies is required.

  • Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software using Agile methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.
  • Research, test, build, and coordinate conversion/integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Resolve problems with software and respond to enhancement suggestions.
  • Lead team members on projects and guide development work.

The work:
  • Uses Agile methodologies to design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software.
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.
  • Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements.
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
  • Evaluates effectiveness.
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
  • Acts as team leader on projects.
  • Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of others on the development team.
  • Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
