Job summary

A leading IT staffing firm is seeking a senior .NET Developer who will design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET components. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC and a strong understanding of Agile practices and service-oriented architecture. This role requires collaboration with various teams and a proactive approach to learning new technologies. Successful candidates will contribute to both technical documentation and production support, ensuring the quality of deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of development experience with ASP.NET MVC.
• Thorough understanding of service oriented architecture (SOA) concepts.
• Understanding of the SOLID object-oriented principles.
• 5 or more years of previous Oracle database experience.
• Previous experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology/best practices.

Job Description

• Design, code, unit test, document, and maintain high-quality and scalable .NET components
• Analyze and define customer requirements.
• Assist in defining product technical architecture.
• Make accurate development effort estimates to assist management in project and resource planning.
• Participate in peer reviews for designs, code, and other work products.
• Collaborate with management, quality assurance, architecture, and other development teams
• Write technical documentation and participate in production support.
• Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with solutions
• Keep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed training.
• The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can learn things quickly who is enthusiastic, active, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of development experience with ASP.NET MVC; Web API(REST); Entity Framework;
• Thorough understanding of service oriented architecture (SOA) concepts.
• Understanding of the SOLID object-oriented principles
• 5 or more years of previous Oracle database experience
• Previous experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology/best practices
• Previous experience and successful track‑record of learning new tools and technologies and leveraging these on integration and implementation projects
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
