Job summary

Brooksource seeks a .NET Developer for a government client to plan, process, and execute development tasks with minimal supervision. The role emphasizes C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure, and .NET Framework across multiple projects.

You will contribute to design, testing, and documentation while staying current with evolving technologies. You will collaborate with project managers, participate in solution design, implement features, conduct unit testing, and document methodologies and flows.

Qualifications

• Primary knowledge in Azure, Microsoft C#, .NET Framework 1.1 to current version, ASP.NET languages, WIN-Forms development, MS SQL Developer and experience in Enterprise Data Modeling.

Job description

As the .NET Developer with our government client, you would be responsible for planning, processing, and performing all jobs in an efficient manner with little or no supervision. You would be well-rounded in programming languages with primary knowledge in Azure, Microsoft C#, .NET Framework 1.1 to current version, ASP.NET languages, WIN-Forms development, MS SQL Developer and experience in Enterprise Data Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager to understand priorities of the application
• Contribute to development using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Participate in solutions design; analysis and design; testing and implementation
• Recommend software reusability guidelines
• Conduct unit testing and technical document creation
• This position is not limited to one project area but can be worked across multiple projects as needed
• Willing to use new tools and provide positive suggestions.

Key Skills

• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• Diagramming Tools: MS Visio or any flow diagram tools (preferred)

• Testing: Perform System Test and Create Test Documentation
