Job summary

The Talent Advantage Group in Michigan is seeking a mid-level Application Developer to maintain and enhance business-critical applications built on .NET Framework 4.8 and modernize solutions using .NET 10. The role emphasizes strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills to support data-driven workflows and integrations.

You will collaborate with IT, business analysts, client teams, and other developers to resolve issues, deliver enhancements, and ensure system reliability, with a focus on production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of professional application development in a Microsoft-based environment.
• Strong development experience with C#, .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET and/or Microsoft web app development.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL experience, including stored procedures, joins, data updates, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
• Experience supporting existing production applications and resolving application or data-related issues.
• Experience with software development lifecycle: requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications built with C# and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Develop new functionality and modernized solutions using .NET 10 and current Microsoft practices.
• Analyze requirements and translate into reliable, maintainable solutions.
• Modify and support web apps, background processes, APIs, and system integrations.
• Develop clean, maintainable, tested, and documented code per standards.
• Participate in modernization efforts transitioning legacy functionality to current .NET technologies.
• Write, review, and optimize T-SQL queries, procedures, views and data-processing routines.
• Support data imports/exports, interfaces, and client-specific workflows.
• Investigate production issues and coordinate corrective actions; document resolutions.
