Job summary

AVER, LLC is seeking a .Net Application Developer in Washington, D.C. for agile development and maintenance using .NET tools. The role focuses on delivering production-ready software through full SDLC within a government-facing environment, with a hybrid work arrangement two days per week at client site.

Security clearance (Public Trust) ability is required. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS or related field and at least 5 years of .NET experience, including C#, EF Core, SQL Server,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as .Net Software Application Developer.
• Experience with .Net Core 6+ and C#.
• Strong knowledge of EF Core and SQL Server/Oracle.
• Experience with MVC/MVVM patterns and RESTful services.
• Security and identity management with SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver solutions across the full systems development lifecycle.
• Perform system analysis, requirements collection, design, development, training, data conversion, implementation, and support.
• Support websites, data-entry systems, and client-server applications.
• Design, develop, debug, implement, and troubleshoot production software.
• Coordinate conversion and integration of new products per client requirements.
• Develop new software or major enhancements and evaluate effectiveness.
• Address integration, compatibility, and cross-platform issues.
• Consult with teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Support feasibility analyses for future projects.
• Assist in evaluating software packages and testing tools.
• Provide technical guidance to clients and team.

AVER is seeking a .Net Application Developer with in-depth knowledge and experience assisting with agile methodology development for software maintenance and operations using .NET based coding tools. This role is technically focused from a software development lifecycle perspective to deploy products into a production environment. Responsibilities Include:

• Demonstrated success delivering solutions across the full systems development lifecycle, leveraging deep technical expertise to understand scope and ensure successful project delivery
• Perform system analysis, requirements collection, design, development, training, data conversion, implementation, documentation, and end user support
• Support covers of all websites, web-enabled data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, and collaborative computing products
• Design, develop, enhance, debugs, implement, and troubleshootproduction problems related to software applications
• Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software and evaluates effectiveness of solutions
• Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
• Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements
• Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management
• Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
• Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Participate in development of software user manuals and technical reports
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Applied experience as a .Net Developer with skills to convey mastery of required experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of technical analysis experience as a .Net Software Application Developer
• Experience with programming languages including Microsoft C# (.Net CORE), Microsoft .NET 6 or greater, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or greater
• Experience with ORM and database technologies including Entity Framework Core (EF Core) 6 or greater
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server 2016 or above, Oracle 12c or above)
• Experience with MVC Design Patterns and MVVM Design Patterns
• Experience with front-end development tools including JQuery, AJAX, Telerik Kendo UI or similar UI frameworks
• Experience with web services including RESTful Web Services
• Experience with back-end services including Windows Services, ASP.NET Core
• Experience with security and identity management
• Experience implementing authentication protocols SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
• Experience working with JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for secure API communication

Location:

• Washington, DC
• HYBRID, 2 days per week at client site
