Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to contribute across the SDLC lifecycle. You will build and modify high-performance APIs, design robust software solutions, and align with architecture best practices while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will document processes, perform testing, and help maintain live systems, with relocation/travel as needed. The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving and continuous learning within a dynamic Infosys team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Relocation and/or travel may be required to work/project location.
• Candidates authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship may apply; Infosys cannot sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in capturing user needs through interviews and workshops and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications per design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions within the system.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues, and document maintenance procedures.
• Document coding practices and testing methodologies to enrich team knowledge.
