• Assess patient needs based on history, observation, exams and diagnostic data and provide age-appropriate nursing interventions.
• Foster a compassionate, respectful environment for patients, families and visitors.
• Ensure health and safety practices and appropriate use of equipment.
• Contribute to Nursing Quality Indicators through standard work and performance.
• Mentor and precept new staff and support department initiatives with Evidence Based Practices.
• Float to assist in other like units as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
