Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Nephrology team in Belfast, ME. This full-time role supports rooming patients, assisting providers, updating chart information, and coordinating care to keep patient flow smooth.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, completion of an MA program with clinical hours or equivalent experience, and current MA certification with BLS within 30 days. Sign-on bonuses are available for eligible experience levels.

Qualifications

• Education and certification requirements as listed in the ad, including MA programs or equivalent experience.
• Current MA certification and BLS; state/national licensure where applicable.
• Minimum six months to one year clinical experience as MA or in similar practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers in nephrology clinic.
• Update and manage clinical information and coordinate patient care.
• Respond to patient needs and ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Assist with care coordination and documentation as part of the team.
