Job summary

The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine invites applications for faculty positions in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at multiple ranks. The successful candidate will establish an inpatient nephrology consultative service, cover dialysis units, and create an outpatient CKD clinic.

Teaching residents/fellows and pursuing clinical research are expected.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine; California medical license required.
• Nephrology board-eligibility or board-certification is required.
• MD, D.O. or equivalent required for appointment.

Responsibilities

• Establish an inpatient nephrology consultative practice.
• Cover outpatient dialysis units.
• Establish an outpatient chronic kidney disease clinic.
• Teach residents and fellows.
• Engage in clinical research.
