University of Pennsylvania Nephrology is seeking an Assistant Professor for the non-tenure academic clinician track at PVAMC and the Perelman School of Medicine. An M.D. or equivalent degree and board certification in Nephrology are required.

Responsibilities include teaching Penn medical students, residents, and fellows, and providing clinical nephrology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. A split appointment with UPenn and the VA is possible; research is encouraged but not required.

Qualificações

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• Board certification in Nephrology required.
• Academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active, high-quality teaching.
• Outstanding clinicians with excellence in patient care and education preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Penn medical students, residents, and clinical fellows.
• Provide clinical nephrology care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Work in a VA outpatient hemodialysis unit and in an acute inpatient dialysis unit.
• Research participation encouraged but not required.
