Kidney Specialists of South Texas is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Corpus Christi nephrology team. This full-time role includes comprehensive training, a starting salary of 120,000 with a productivity incentive, and three weeks of PTO alongside full benefits.

Responsibilities include dialysis-limited visits in an outpatient clinic with no on-call duties, supported by mentoring and online modules to ensure a smooth transition. Master’s in nursing or PA studies is required.

Kidney Specialists of South Texas is expanding and seeking passionate Advanced Practice Providers to join their dynamic team.

• Preferred backgrounds – internal medicine exposure or nephrology experience is preferred, but not required.
• Comprehensive training provided – online modules, mentorship, and check-ins scheduled to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology.

Hiring Package:

• Starting salary of 120,000, with productivity incentive

Schedule/Practice Details:

• Dialysis limited visits

• No call expectations

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with a nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements

• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.

• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.

• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.

• Knowledge of documentation in medical records in confidential manner.
