Job description

West Coast Kidney Institute – West Bay Division, a nephrology practice serving San Francisco and San Mateo counties in California, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Nephrologist to join us in 2027. We are a thriving, collaborative group guided by esprit de corps. Senior physicians mentor and support junior physicians, and everybody helps each other during periods of increased clinical demand, ensuring no one feels unsupported.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Graduated pay scale – $275,000 in year 1, with a 7% annual increase reaching $360,000 in year 5
• Five-year full partnership track with equal income distribution, historically exceeding $500,000
• Two-year junior partnership track with full voting rights
• Paid time off: 4 weeks annually in years 1-5, increasing to 6 ½ weeks as a full partner

Schedule:

• Five-day workweeks in years 1 and 2, transitioning to 4 ½-day workweeks from year 3 onward
