Job summary

The Los Angeles Medical Center is seeking a nephrology physician (Board Certified or Board Eligible) for a purely clinical, non‑administrative role. Responsibilities include outpatient nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis care at LAMC, and inpatient nephrology coverage within the unit.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible as required by the role.
• Purely clinical, non-administrative nephrology practice.
• Outpatient nephrology with in-patient coverage at LAMC.
• Participates in tertiary clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient nephrology care (clinic), Hemodialysis, Peritoneal dialysis at LAMC.
• Inpatient nephrology coverage in the department.
• Part of general nephrology and related clinics (renal stone, GN, Renal Genetics).

Job description

Salary Range

$361,175.00 to $429,735.00

Potential Premium Earnings

$33,888.00

• Salary range includes incentives that are contingent upon skills, competencies, longevity, experience and geographic location.
• The earnings included in the salary range are contingent upon requisite Board Certification.
• Potential premium earnings may vary based on location.
• Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.

• The successful candidate will be expected to be part of general nephrology as well as our tertiary care clinics including renal stone clinic, GN clinic and Renal Genetics Clinic
