Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking a nephrology-trained clinician for call coverage and hospital rounds in North Carolina. The role includes 24-hour call duties, dialysis management, and both inpatient and outpatient rounding.

You will handle CRRT, catheter placements, manage post-renal transplant patients, and benefit from pre-paid travel, housing, and malpractice coverage. Licensing assistance and NALTO membership are supported.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required.
• Experience with CRRT and renal biopsy preferred.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient rounding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ~1:1 call coverage with ~7 phone consults and 4 admissions per 24-hour shift.
• Manage dialysis (hemodialysis and peritoneal) catheter placement and CRRT.
• Oversee post-renal transplant patients and required hospital rounding.
