Job summary

South Texas Renal Care Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking a board eligible or certified nephrologist to join a growing practice focused on comprehensive kidney care. The role emphasizes inpatient, ICU, hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis management within a group with multiple clinics and centers.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, compassionate, and proficient in English; Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Graduate of an Accredited Nephrology Training Program.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and ICU nephrology care across hospital settings.
• Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis management.
• Vascular access center and dialysis program involvement.
• Medical directorships at transplant centers and dialysis units.
• Participation in productivity-based partnership opportunities.

An Excellent Opportunity for a Board eligible or certified nephrologist. Our group "South Texas Renal Care" is based in San Antonio, Texas and this position would be based in San Antonio, Texas.

The ideal candidates are self-motivated and very compassionate about patient care. Our practice is involved in all aspects of Nephrology. We are highly active in hospital inpatient, ICU management, hemo and peritoneal dialysis. We have a group owned vascular access center, medical directorships at multiple kidney transplant centers and dialysis medical directorships.

At South Texas Renal Care Group, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of kidney disease patients throughout San Antonio and South Texas. South Texas Renal Care Group is a successful and rapidly growing group practice consisting of 17 physicians and 4 nurse practitioners. We service 12 clinic locations in and around San Antonio, Texas and maintain one AAAAS Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center. Our physicians are the medical directors at 19 US Renal Care Dialysis units and of these 19 dialysis units, 2 are home dialysis programs.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
• Graduate of an Accredited Nephrology Training Program
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Spanish speaking preferred but is not required.
