Job summary

Point Quest Group in Conroe, TX is seeking a PRN interpreter for the 2026/2027 school year to provide Nepali-English interpretation during student meetings and conferences in-person.

You will collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and related service providers to support student success and IEP goals, offering real-time interpretation during meetings, assessments, and other school activities while maintaining strict confidentiality and FERPA compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional fluency in English and Nepali.
• Experience interpreting in educational or related settings.
• Ability to pass Simulated Interpretation Exercise and background screening.
• Familiarity with FERPA confidentiality protocols.

A signed FERPA acknowledgment on file before any placement.Preferred:• Bilingual education degree or linguistics background.• National interpreter certification or completion of a recognized interpreter training program. ATA (American Translators Association) membership or certification.
