Job summary

Geisinger in Scranton, PA, is seeking an experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our Level 2 NICU team. The role covers deliveries, NICU admissions, and high-level neonatal care in a 2,000+ deliveries per year center.

The candidate will perform intubations, vascular access, ventilator management, and other critical procedures essential to neonatal care. Flexible shift options are available to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• Experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant.
• Must be an experienced Neonatal Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Attending deliveries and delivery room management of all infants less than 35 weeks and other high-risk indications.
• Admissions including history and physical.
• Assessments and ongoing management of current NICU patients.
• Intubation.
• Umbilical line placement, chest tubes.
• Arterial puncture.
• Arterial line placement.
• Ventilator management.
• Others as applicable.
