Pediatrix Medical Group is recruiting a neonatologist to join the NICU team at University Medical Center Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, TX. The role focuses on high-quality, family-centered care within a collaborative environment alongside neonatal and pediatric specialists.

As part of a growing network, you will provide comprehensive neonatology care, participate in rounds and quality initiatives, and contribute to education and support for families in a Level IV NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates in a Level IV NICU
• Manage critically ill newborns, including ventilator management and advanced procedures
• Collaborate with obstetrics, pediatrics, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
• Engage in clinical documentation, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Provide education and support to families
• Participate in call rotation and NICU coverage schedule
