Dynamic Neonatologist Opportunity with Guaranteed First Year Bonus

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS is recruiting a Neonatologist interested in an evolving QI team‑based opportunity.

Responsibilities

Our well‑respected and established neonatology practice seeks a Neonatologist who will provide comprehensive services in a Level‑III, 80‑bed NICU setting along with participation in quality improvement initiatives.

  • Minimum 2 neonatologists on until 4pm. Very close knit team creating a flexible schedule with strong NNP support
• 24‑Hour In‑House Coverage: Work in our Level‑III, 80‑bed NICU with round‑the‑clock coverage.
  • No call required from home!
  • 1 NEO and 2 NNPs working 24/7 to provide coverage. No single‑person coverage in the evening.
• High Acuity Environment
  • 6,000 deliveries each year, with the intensive and special care units averaging around 1,200 admissions annually and an average daily census of 60.
  • High volume with procedures: Handle OK/NE/Western Kansas transfers – LPs, Lines, etc.
• Comprehensive Services: Provide all services except ECMO and heart surgery.
• Supportive Environment: Work alongside residents and nurse practitioners for both day and night shifts.
• Academic Affiliation: Affiliated with KU School of Medicine – Wichita, offering extensive QI and research opportunities.
• J1 Visa candidates encouraged to apply.
