Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join our growing network in San Marcos, TX. You will provide newborn care in a Level II NICU and collaborate with a nationwide neonatal team for quality outcomes.

The role offers access to a Level IV NICU in San Antonio for advanced support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to moonlight across level II–IV NICUs in Austin and beyond.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Neonatology required.
• Strong neonatal clinical skills and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in a Level II NICU.
• Attend high-risk deliveries, C-sections, newborn resuscitations, and provide neonatal consultation services.
• Access to CHRISTUS Children’s Level IV NICU in San Antonio for advanced neonatal support and transfers.
• Flexible scheduling with potential to moonlight in level II–IV NICUs with Pediatrix in Austin.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos in partnership with Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to join our growing practice in San Marcos, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality newborn care while enjoying the support of a collaborative neonatal network.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa is an acute care hospital within the CHRISTUS Health system, serving the rapidly growing market between Austin and San Antonio. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos operates an on‑site 6‑bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an (NICU ADC of 2) within its Level II Maternal Care Facility supporting 750 deliveries/year (Newborn ADC of 6).
