Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in South Florida is seeking a compassionate Neonatologist to join our established team at Palms West Hospital, a premier HCA Healthcare facility in the Palm Beaches.

You will join a Level III NICU with 18 beds, manage the newborn nursery, and collaborate with 4 neonatologists and 3 NNPs providing 24/7 coverage. The role offers academic involvement, teaching opportunities, and access to subspecialty support.

Responsibilities

• Level III, 18-bed NICU management.
• Management of the newborn nursery.
• Collaborative team of 4 neonatologists and 3 NNPs providing 24/7 coverage.
• Full-service children's hospital with pediatric subspecialty support.
• Excellent pediatric surgical team with growing neonatal cases.
• Transport team with in-house ambulance units.
• Ventilation modalities including NAVA, HFOV and HFJV.
• Therapeutic hypothermia and iNO therapy.
• Active hematology/oncology program with COG membership.
• Academic affiliation with a pediatric residency program.
• Opportunities to teach, mentor, and train pediatric residents.
