Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an EEG Technician to perform neonatal through adult routine EEGs in the lab and at patient bedsides in the ICU. The role includes continuous EEG monitoring in the EMU and daily activating maneuvers, with Evoked Potential testing as needed by leadership.

Qualifications require BLS and preferably ABRET EEG tech certification. A graduate of an accredited electrodiagnostic program or approved neurodiagnostic training is expected.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Registered EEG Technologist Certification through ABRET preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program or approved training in neurodiagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform neonatal to adult routine EEGs in lab and bedside in ICUs.
• Provide continuous monitoring EEG studies in the EMU and daily activating maneuvers.
• Conduct Evoked Potential testing (VER, BAER, SEP, SSEP) if determined by department director.
