Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Presentation and communication skills are required.
• 5+ years of clinical experience in neonatal nursing is required.
• Experience leading unit/facility initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads neonatal initiatives in the CHRISTUS location.
• Collaborates with the Neonatal Medical Director to oversee neonatal practice.
• Co-Chairs Neonatal Quality/Oversight & Operations Committee(s) with the Neonatal Medical Director.
• Ensures core neonatal functions and program plans meet benchmarks and standards.
• Develops evidence-based neonatal policies/procedures and collaborates with stakeholders.
• Forecasts resources and trains staff to meet demand and ensure quality care.
