Zusammenfassung

UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is seeking a Neonatal Physician Assistant to join the Pediatric Neonatology team in a busy Level III NICU. This role offers 24/7 in-house neonatology coverage and opportunities to mentor, precept, and participate in a Pediatric APP Fellowship program.

The successful candidate will have 1 year of Level III/IV NICU PA experience or complete a neonatal fellowship, be ARC-PA accredited, NCCPA certified, and eligible for PA licensure in Pennsylvania.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year Level III/IV NICU PA experience or completion of a 9-month post-graduate residency/fellowship in neonatology.
• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
• BLS/CPR per AHA standards within 30 days of hire.
• NRP certification per AAAP standards within 30 days of hire.
• ECMO competence within 1 year of hire (Required at CHP).
• Act 33, Act 34, Act 73 FBI Clearance.

• Provide high-acuity care to neonates in a Level III NICU.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, fellows, residents, nurses, and allied health staff.
• Participate in delivery room management and family-centered care.
