Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for per diem coverage near Salt Lake City, Utah. Shifts run 24 hours with 8-hour rounds starting at 7am, with on-call duties for the remainder of the shift.

Coverage spans three NICU worksites: Ogden Regional Medical Center, Davis Hospital and Medical Center, and Lakeview Hospital. Neonatology support is available for backup, and the role is a W-2 position with travel expenses covered for those outside a commutable distance.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed APRN with an active Utah license or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Neonatal NP in a hospital setting.
• Current APRN national specialty certification required.

Job description

• Per Diem Seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNP) for coverage needs near Salt Lake City, Utah
• 24 hour shift: Rounding 8 hours (7am start time) with On Call for remainder of shift
• Coverage within (3) worksites: Ogden Regional Medical Center - Level III NICU (ADC 17), Davis Hospital and Medical Center - Level III NICU (ADC 8-10) and Lakeview Hospital - Level II NICU
• Neonatologist support available for back up
• Current APRN National Specialty Certification
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree
• Active UT license or ability to obtain
• Minimum of 1 Year's experience as NNP in hospital setting

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
