Job summary

Ascension St Vincent is seeking an advanced practice nurse to provide comprehensive nursing and medical care in diverse clinical settings. You will collaborate with physicians to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care, developing and monitoring treatment plans with the patient and family.

Responsibilities include performing health assessments, ordering tests, and participating in discharge planning. Licensure in Ohio and prescriptive authority are required or eligible; ACLS/PALS may be needed

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing preferred and current Ohio RN license.
• National certification as a nurse practitioner or eligible for certification.
• Current certificate to prescribe or pursuing MSN/DNP required/ encouraged.
• ACLS or PALS may be required depending on practice setting.
• Board credentialing for active medical staff privileges may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic conditions.
• Practice with neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations in high-acuity settings.
• Collaborates with physicians and medical staff to develop and monitor treatment plans.
• Participates in quality monitoring via FPPE/OPPE per Joint Commission.
