Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Tucson seeks an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Supervisor to lead the NNP team in our Level IV NICU, working with neonatologists to deliver patient care.

The role includes supervising scheduling and evaluations, teaching residents, participating in procedures such as intubations, arterial lines, PICCs, and ventilator management, and serving as an NRP instructor.

Qualifications

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in Level III or Level IV NICUs.
• State NP certification with prescribing privileges (Arizona).
• Current NPR Certification and DEA license for controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the NNP team including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Teach residents and participate in procedure training and protocol development.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and perform procedures (intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICC lines, ventilator management).
• Serve as an NRP instructor and collaborate with neonatologists and other clinicians.
