Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA is seeking a part-time NICU Registered Nurse for 12-hour days to deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process from evaluation to discharge.

Responsibilities include directing patient/family teaching, responding to changes in condition, maintaining a safe environment, and caring for neonates from post-delivery stabilization through discharge.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• NRP (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• One year of experience in an acute care setting with NICU or nursery experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for neonates within NICU.
• Provide teaching to parents and guidance to staff.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Coordinate care with the neonatal team.
