Job summary

AdventHealth Winter Park in Florida is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to care for NICU and newborn patients under physician supervision, developing treatment plans, ordering labs, and interpreting results in line with neonatal guidelines. You will collaborate with the NICU team and support families.

Candidates need a Master's in Nursing with Neonatal Certification, Florida APRN or PA license with neonatal certification, NRP, and 2+ years NICU APRN experience (RN 1–2 years).

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing with Neonatal Certification required.
• 1–2 years NICU RN experience (highly preferred).
• 2+ years NICU Neonatal APRN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for NICU and newborn patients under physician supervision per licensure.
• Evaluate patients, plan treatments, order and interpret labs and imaging per NICU guidelines.
• Communicate with parents, specialists and NICU team.
• Monitor incubators, ventilators and other specialized equipment.
• Educate families on neonatal, intensive and postpartum care.
• Dispense medications under collaboration with a physician.
• Perform procedures such as intubation and blood draws.
• Ensure proper feeding and basic newborn care.
