Job summary

The Division of Neonatology has an immediate opening for a Clinical Research Nurse in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah Spencer F. Eccles School of Medicine.

Coordinate day-to-day clinical research activities in the NICU in accordance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and applicable regulations. Screen, recruit, enroll, and obtain informed consent from study participants and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (R.N.).
• Experience coordinating clinical trials is preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinical trial activities in the NICU per GCP, protocols, and regulations.
• Recruit, screen, enroll, and obtain consent from study participants and families.
• Collect, manage, and maintain study data and documentation.
• Monitor participant safety and report adverse events to the PI and sponsors.
• Collaborate with investigators, NICU staff, and external partners to support trial execution.
