Job summary

H&M Transport is seeking dedicated Wheelchair Van Drivers to safely transport patients to and from homes, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges within Virginia and the DC metro area. You will provide courteous, professional service while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Starting pay is $18.50–$21.00 per hour with weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR screening
• Dependability: on-time, in uniform, and ready to work
• Flexibility for rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients and assist them in and out of the vehicle
• Ensure wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before driving
• Provide courteous, professional support to clients and caregivers during trips
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out (car washing membership provided)
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using company software
• Follow all company safety protocols and policies
• Stay connected with dispatch and adapt to changing schedules
• Represent the company with a positive, helpful attitude at all times

About the Role:

We’re looking for dedicated drivers to join our team and help make a difference in people’s lives. As a Wheelchair Van Driver, you’ll safely transport patients to and from their homes, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working with people, and values safety and reliability. Contract regulations require clean background, driving record and must be at 23 years of age.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely transport clients and assist them in and out of the vehicle

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist clients as needed


• Comfortable with bending, reaching, and extended driving
