Job summary

America West Transportation LLC is seeking a courteous NEMT Driver in Middlesex, NJ to deliver wheelchair transportation with a through-the-door service. You will help clients in and out of the vehicle and maintain safety throughout each trip.

Responsibilities include pre-inspection checks, safe driving, and knowledge of the local area. A valid license, high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid preferred, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license or CDL required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid card preferred but not required.
• Familiar with driving region and surrounding areas.
• Background checks and drug and alcohol screening required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspection checks on all vehicles being driven.
• Drive clients to and from destinations in a safe manner.
• Assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and provide a 'through the door' service.
