Job summary

America West Transportation LLC is seeking an NEMT Driver to pick up wheelchair or stretcher patients using a fully equipped vehicle and GPS. You may work solo or with a teammate depending on assignments.

The role involves safe patient transport from home to service location and back, use of company software, and on-call duties, with a focus on customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s license required.
• 3 years of professional driving experience required.
• Clean driving record (No more than 1 point).
• Ability to pass a drug test and health screening (including alcohol, TB test and/or TB chest x-ray).
• Ability to pass a physical agility test.
• Ability to lift/maneuver 50 pounds.
• Fluency in speaking and understanding English, strong communication skills.
• Ability to drive to various locations.
• Professionalism.
• Ability to use apps and electronic devices.

Responsibilities

About the Role

The NEMT Driver will be responsible for picking up wheelchair patients or stretcher patients using a fully loaded vehicle equipped for wheelchairs or stretchers and a GPS system. This position may work independently or with another teammate based on driving assignments.
