What You'll Do

We are seeking a courteous and friendly wheelchair NEMT Driver who can deliver excellent customer service consistently. Drivers must assist clients getting in and out of the vehicle and assist clients with a “through the door” service. Applicants must have a flexible work schedule, to accommodate the business need.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Pre‑inspection checks on all vehicles before driving.
• Ensure all items or devices are stored properly.
• Drive clients safely to and from destinations.

Qualifications

License

• Valid state driver's license or commercial driver's license required.

Education & Training

• High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Valid CPR/First Aid card is preferred but not required.
• Drivers should be familiar with the driving region and surrounding areas.

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience driving corporate clients and paratransit vehicles is a plus.
• Must have a valid specific state driver's license of the posted job location for at least five (5) years with no more than one (1) moving violation or one (1) at‑fault accident in the last three (3) years.
• Applicants must be familiar with using cellular phones and navigating around areas using a GPS.
• Experience working with the elderly population.
• Physical certifications: Non‑DOT Physical, Drug, TB, and Breath Alcohol test.
• Acceptable background screens including criminal check and drug and alcohol screening.
• Valid Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Bilingual in another language in addition to English preferred.

• Must pass pre‑employment screening – background and drug screen including alcohol screening.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs, push up to 150 lbs.
• Bend from the waist.
• Pivot from waist.
• Move between standing and kneeling positions.
