New Mexico State University (NMSU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Nematology. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position with 85% research and 15% teaching responsibilities.

The successful candidate will develop a creative, collaborative research program focused on plant-parasitic nematode interactions across New Mexico's agricultural to urban ecosystems, and will teach Nematology with potential course development in Soil Ecology.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in nematology, plant pathology, or related biological science.
• Postdoctoral experience is preferred.

• Develop a creative, collaborative, extramurally funded research program on plant-parasitic nematode interactions across New Mexico ecosystems.
• Teach Nematology courses and supervise graduate students; contribute to course development as needed.
