Job summary

Looking for a reliable and caring personal caretaker with special needs experience to assist a family in Manhattan and Queens. The role involves monitoring an autistic son and an infant, with 1-hour shifts and longer hours on school days, including morning and late afternoon blocks.

Candidates must have a car and be able to work during MON-FRI 7:00-9:00 AM and 2:00-6:00 PM, with duties including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, oral care and medication support for the child.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children with special needs.
• Reliable and caring personal caretaker.
• Able to assist with bathing, toileting, grooming and dressing.
• Must have access to a car for commuting.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and light daily assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and oral care as needed.
• Support with getting ready for school and daily routines during specified times.

I work in Manhattan and husband is fireman. On days we both work I need someone to watch my infant and son for long hours. My son who is autistic goes to school and my infant is only 2 months old as of Sept. 26th.
