Job summary

Cone Health in Burlington, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care under general supervision. The RN will apply nursing knowledge, coordinate care through the nursing process, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, at least 1 year of RN experience, NC or Compact licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. Preference for a BSN and specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
• Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
