Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Learn/know correct anatomic terms.
  • Assist in the preparation of responses, deviations and other documentation from audits.
  • Assist with and perform basic necropsy procedures (dissection, tissue collection/preservation, sample collection, organ weights).
  • Learn/know operation of equipment (calipers, balances, centrifuges).
  • Perform basic data collection using a computerized capturing system.
  • Perform basic blood collection techniques; perform related duties as assigned.

Perform basic necropsy laboratory procedures. Participate in the documentation of all activities as required.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Learn/know correct anatomic terms.
  • Assist in the preparation of responses, deviations and other documentation resulting from internal and external reviews and/or audits.
  • Assist with and perform basic necropsy procedures (basic dissection, tissue collection/preservation, fresh tissue trimming, sample collection, organ weights etc.).
  • Learn/know operation of equipment (calipers, balances, centrifuges, etc)
  • Perform basic data collection using a computerized capturing system.
  • Perform basic various blood collection techniques. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The pay for this position is $21.70hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required. Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in a biological science preferred.
