A leading renewable energy firm in Nebraska is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to play a critical role in the electrical installation and commissioning of utility-scale solar and wind energy systems. This position involves working outdoors and requires a state-issued unlimited journeyman electrician license. Candidates with knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience in renewable energy projects will stand out. Qualifications
Willingness to obtain journeyman license prior to start.
Previous experience working on renewable energy projects or large-scale construction projects.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Responsibilities
Perform electrical installation and commissioning of solar and wind energy systems.
Install conduit and wiring, set up inverters and transformers.
Ensure all systems meet code and safety standards.
Work consistently outside, frequently in inclement weather.
