Job summary

Bomgaars is seeking a motivated forklift and receiving associate to support a fast-paced retail environment in Holdrege, NE and surrounding areas. You will handle freight, operate the forklift, unload trucks, and assist customers with product selection and loading.

• Freight handling and distribution to the sales floor.

• Receive packages/online orders/rainchecks and notify customers.
• Keep Receiving bay organized.
• Assemble merchandise as needed.
• Sales and assisting customers with product selection and load outs.
• Other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Product knowledge helpful
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Computer skills required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis without assistance
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Detail oriented/Organization skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be able to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium for working weekend hours)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Freight handling and distribution to the sales floor
• Forklift operation, unload trucks, outside lot (varying weather conditions - all seasons)
• Receive packages/Online orders/Rainchecks (to include customer notifications)
• Keep Receiving bay organized
• Assembly of merchandise as needed
• Sales
