Job summary

Bomgaars is seeking a motivated Key Carrier for the Feed and Pets departments at our West Point, Nebraska store. This supervisory role supports the Store Manager with daily operations, coaching and inventory control, and ensures excellent customer service.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, with potential to $19 based on experience. Benefits package, employee discount, and flexible schedule; weekend shift premium applies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store to include team coaching, inventory control, and labor control
• Opening and closing the store/balancing cash drawers
• General Sales Clerk duties to ensure store is clean, organized, and well stocked
• Cashiering/cash handling
• Freight handling/Forklift operation
• Assist customers with product selection and load outs
• Handling phone calls

Bomgaars is seeking a motivated, responsible individual with Key Carrier experience. Key Carrier is a supervisory role with operational emphasis over the Feed and Pet departments and helps the Store Manager lead a productive team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Agriculture background/Product knowledge - Feed, Pets
• Retail and management experience preferred
• Merchandising skills/experience
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Administrative and computer skills to complete paperwork
• Detail oriented/Organizational skills
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis and stand for extended periods of time
• Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, rotating weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
