Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace in Pensacola, FL, is seeking an NDT Trainee to begin a formal and on‑the‑job training path in nondestructive testing and aircraft inspection. You will work alongside certified NDT personnel to develop the knowledge and hands‑on skills in Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, and Ultrasonic methods.

You’ll learn to recognize indications, document results, and advance toward NDT certifications while supporting a high‑reliability aerospace maintenance environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
• Must be able to progress toward NDT certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in formal and on‑the‑job training for NDT certification.
• Assist with NDT equipment setup and instrument operation under supervision.
• Support nondestructive testing activities per procedures and customer requirements.
• Learn to recognise indications and document results accurately.
• Maintain familiarity with codes, standards, and repair station procedures.
• Pursue progression toward NDT Technician I qualification.
• Follow safety, quality, regulatory, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by NDT leadership.
