Job summary

Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. (IIA) seeks an experienced NDT Technologist to join its Nuclear Services team in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on providing specialized NDE support, planning, execution, and reporting for complex inspections in the nuclear industry.

The candidate will interpret codes, select techniques, verify procedures, and generate comprehensive test reports, while collaborating with engineers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient outages and inspections.

Qualifications

• NRC security requirements to access nuclear power plants.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship required; NRC access prerequisites described.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work and design practices and compliance with laws, regulations, and company procedures.
• Oversee NDE operations as a technical expert.
• Develop and approve inspection procedures and QA/QC plans.
• Calibrate NDE testing equipment and ensure safety requirements.
• Review NDE exam results for accuracy and generate reports.
• Research and recommend new NDE technologies to improve processes.
• Complete applicable job reports and paperwork.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and machinists.
