VPE Thermalis in Sacramento is seeking an NDT Level II technician to perform non-destructive tests on materials, parts, and structures, including PT, UT with flaw detection, and VT, ensuring safety and quality.
You will interpret results, write detailed reports, calibrate equipment, and support inspections, with ASME Section V and VIII knowledge preferred. 3–5 years' experience and ASNT Level II (UT/VT/PT) preferred.
The NDT Level II technician shall be experienced, results driven and detailed oriented individual. The NDT Level II inspections required include Liquid Penetrant Testing, Visual Testing, and Ultrasonic Thickness Testing and flaw detection. Other NDT testing may be required such as Helium Leak Testing and Hydrostatic Pressure Testing. This is a key role responsible in ensuring the safety and efficiency of machinery, materials, and structures by detecting defects or irregularities without causing damage.
$28-38/hour Depending on experience
Bachelors (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
