Job summary

General Dynamics - Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking an NDT Technician II for the weekend shift in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will design and implement nondestructive testing to evaluate materials and document test results. Ideal candidates need a Vocational/Technical degree and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience, with additional certifications preferred.

The role requires a focus on safety, precision, and adherence to quality guidelines, contributing to our mission of supporting military and tactical operations globally.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience or equivalent.
• Discipline in Science Degree in NDT or equivalent training.
• Working towards NDT Level 1 certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret results.
• Document results in accordance with specifications.
• Conduct system performance checks according to standards.
