Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
• Perform inspection to detect discontinuities, defects, flaws or anomalies using NDT methods of inspection
• Follow inspection procedures for proper examination of components, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Perform testing in accordance with procedures or standards and evaluate results
• Collect, organize and electronically report inspection results
• Communicate and interface with customers and management
• Perform specialized inspections
• Ensure rolls / components requiring inspections within shop inventory is maintained
• May instruct and supervise others at times
